Ingredients
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Lemon Juice - 30 ml
- Parsley - 1 cup
- Coriander - 1 tsp
- Cilantro - 1 cup
- Salt - 1 to taste
- Cumin - 1 tsp
- Paprika - 1 tsp
- Olive Oil - 60 ml
Directions
Step 1
Roughly chop cilantro and parsley.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine chopped herbs, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, olive oil, and lemon juice.
Step 3
Mash or whisk into a coarse paste.
Step 4
Adjust salt or lemon juice to taste.
Step 5
Let rest 10 minutes at room temperature.
Step 6
Use immediately as marinade or sauce, or refrigerate up to 5 days.
Cook's Notes
For extra flavor, allow chermoula to marinate for at least 30 minutes before using.
