Ingredients

  • Oats - 50 g
  • Flour - 90 g
  • Butter - 60 g
  • Sugar - 50 g
  • Brown Sugar - 80 g
  • Cinnamon - 3 g
  • Apples - 500 g

Directions

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

  • Step 2

    In a baking dish, combine 500 g sliced apples with 50 g sugar and 3 g cinnamon . Toss gently.

  • Step 3

    In a separate bowl, mix 90 g all-purpose flour, 50 g rolled oats, 80 g brown sugar , and 60 g cold butter , cut into small cubes. Rub together until crumbly.

  • Step 4

    Sprinkle crumble mixture over apples.

  • Step 5

    Bake for 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden and apples are tender.

  • Step 6

    Let cool slightly and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.

Cook's Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or chopped pecans to the crumble.
