Vegetarian Apple Crisp

This vegetarian apple crisp is a comforting dessert made with fresh sliced apples and a crisp topping of oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Baked until tender and golden brown, it’s perfect served warm with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.

- Oats - 50 g
- Flour - 90 g
- Butter - 60 g
- Sugar - 50 g
- Brown Sugar - 80 g
- Cinnamon - 3 g
- Apples - 500 g
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a baking dish, combine 500 g sliced apples with 50 g sugar and 3 g cinnamon . Toss gently.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, mix 90 g all-purpose flour, 50 g rolled oats, 80 g brown sugar , and 60 g cold butter , cut into small cubes. Rub together until crumbly.
Step 4
Sprinkle crumble mixture over apples.
Step 5
Bake for 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden and apples are tender.
Step 6
Let cool slightly and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.

For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or chopped pecans to the crumble.
