Ingredients
- Lentils - 1 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Himalayan Pink Salt - 1 to taste
- Tomatoes - 1 cup
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tbsp
- Onion - 1 pieces
- Tamarind - 1 tsp
- Smoked Paprika - 1 tsp
Directions
Step 1
Sauté onion and garlic in vegetable oil until soft.
Step 2
Add lentils, diced tomatoes, smoked paprika, cumin, and enough water to cover.
Step 3
Simmer until lentils are tender.
Step 4
Season with salt to taste.
Step 5
Serve hot and enjoy.
Cook's Notes
Add more water or vegetable stock if you prefer a thinner consistency.
