Ingredients

  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Tomatoes - 200 g
  • Rice - 200 g
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • - 500 g
  • Bell Peppers - 4 pieces
  • Olive Oil - 2 tbsp

Directions

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  • Step 2

    Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.

  • Step 3

    Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.

  • Step 4

    Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

  • Step 5

    Add ground beef and cook until browned.

  • Step 6

    Stir in cooked rice, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper.

  • Step 7

    Stuff each bell pepper with the meat and rice mixture and place them in a baking dish.

  • Step 8

    Pour a little water or tomato sauce into the dish to keep the peppers moist.

  • Step 9

    Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

  • Step 10

    Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the peppers are tender and slightly browned.

  • Step 11

    Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Cook's Notes

Add grated cheese on top of the peppers for a cheesy twist.
